“If you don’t know your history, then you don’t know anything. You are a leaf that doesn’t know it is part of a tree.” ~ Michael Crichton
My name is Michalene June Dischinger Bilsbarrow. I was born in Springfield, MA and moved to Springfield, MO in 2006 after retiring from the Department of Veterans Affairs in Wichita, KS where I worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Vocational, Rehabilitation and Education division for 30 years. I have received a certificate from the Boston University Certificate in Genealogical Research on-line program and from the ProGen 9 Study Group. I joined the Ozarks Genealogical Society in 2008 and I am currently the Librarian at the Ozarks Genealogical Society Library.
This Family Tree is the accumulated research of many people. I am grateful to all those distant cousins who I have “met” online who have shared their own research with me, and I am gradually confirming this research myself. However, the tree may well contain mistakes, typing errors and wrong information, so please let me know if you spot anything which you feel needs correction. If you would like to share your information with me, I would be very happy to receive it! Use the contact link on any page to send me a message with new information, corrections, or requests for further information or any other comment you may have.
I am researching the ancestors of my father, William Walter Bilsbarrow of Liverpool, London and my mother, June Francis Mitchell of Holyoke, Massachusetts.
If you have any questions or comments about the information on this site, please contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.
